Day 6 - Las Salinas
Feb. 20 PM - After the mishap with Lar's hat, we walked on and found a sturdy viewing platform from which we watched Yellowlegs, Herons, Egrets and assorted other birds. The view from the platform was wonderful, giving a sense of the size of this important wetland. As you can see from the photo, the weather remained relentlessly beautiful. Counts were made, photos taken, reviewed and admired, and we continued on. In the distance, the lovely shapes of flamingos (is there an 'e' before the 's'?) could be seen.
